Clementina Torma

Clem and her family immigrated to the United States from Segno, Italy in 1920 settling in Flushing, Ohio. During the Second World War she worked as a riveter in a manufacturing plant producing airplanes for the war effort. She was one of a number of female employees known as “Rosie the riveter”. She came to our country as an immigrant child and grew up to become a war hero.
